COVID-19 RTR policy

Thanks to all of you for your well-wishing messages. I know that you like us are wondering about what will happen in the next few months. We are putting in place our policy, and I would urge you all to keep us informed of your decisions. I hate to quote Boris but “we will get through this” and I expect everyone will be incredibly busy in June.

 

As of 1st April the office at Real Time Reception will temporarily close and we will be working from home. We have a small team who will be picking up calls and providing your normal appointment booking, payment taking and messaging service where your diary software permits.

 

WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE ALL THE SUPPORT YOU WILL NEED

 

I think there are two options

  • Keep your clinic open and we continue to pick up calls. The volume will be reduced and our fees reduced accordingly.
  • Freeze your account – if you are picking up your calls yourself for now but want us to start again when we are back to normal. We can do this but we incur a charge to keep your phone lines and in some cases diary access and these will continue so we are going to make a charge of 10% of your base rate to freeze the account.

 

You might move from one to the other option.

I would ask that you keep us up to date regularly by email to [email protected] of how things are going and how you are. Some of you may be unfortunate enough to get a COVID infection, but once that is over you may be able to reopen your clinic
